A decorating company customers recommend
True Colours Decorating is run by Reggie Montgomery, a decorator for nearly 30 years. Much of the work comes from customers who have used the team before, or from friends they passed the number on to.
The house in these photos had bare grey render. Once the walls were prepared, the whole house was painted white, and it finally looks finished.
- Walls washed down and repaired first

Landing and stairs10/10
We are delighted with our landing and stairs. Everything was stripped back and repainted, and the whole space feels new again. A dependable team that does quality work, and I am happy to recommend them.

Main bedroom and en-suite10/10
Thrilled with our bedroom and en-suite. The painter was really friendly, worked to a very professional standard and left everything spotless. True Colours will be doing any painting we need from now on.

Walls and ceilings10/10
Quick answers whenever we had a question, and a fair price with nothing added on at the end. Two polite, skilled decorators did the work and cleared up completely afterwards.

Call 07359 219053Do you give free decorating quotes in Lisburn?
Yes. Every quote is free and there is no obligation. Reggie will usually arrange to see the job first, so the price covers exactly what needs doing, with no extras added at the end.
Do you supply the paint and materials?
Yes. We supply good quality paints and all the materials the job needs, from filler and primer to dust sheets and masking. Just tell us the colours you have in mind.
Can you help me choose colours and finishes?
Yes. We can suggest colours, sheens and paint types that suit the room, how much light it gets and how hard it has to work, whether that is a hallway, a kitchen or the outside of the house.
How long will my decorating job take?
It depends on the size of the job and how much preparation the surfaces need. Reggie will give you a clear timeline with your quote, before any work starts, and keep you posted if the weather affects an outside job.
What paint do you use on exterior walls?
Weather-resistant exterior paints made for a wet, changeable climate like ours. Before they go on, walls are washed down, flaking paint is scraped back, cracks are repaired and bare areas are primed.
Do you hang wallpaper as well as paint?
Yes. We hang all types, including patterned, vinyl and textured papers and lining paper, and match patterns at every join. We also strip old wallpaper and prepare the walls underneath.
Are you insured?
Yes. True Colours Decorating is fully insured, and has been a Checkatrade member since November 2021.

All of Lisburn, plus Lambeg, Hilden, Hillhall, Royal Hillsborough, Moira, Maghaberry, Dunmurry and the villages around them. We also work across Belfast, Carryduff, Newtownabbey, Holywood and Bangor.
